Changes to Meet Schedule -- Week of September 13
Just a reminder that this Tuesday's meet has been cancelled.
Saturday's meet has been changed from the Warpath Invitational to the Cartersville Classic. Information is below:
8:00am Varsity Girls
8:45am Varsity Boys
9:15am J.V. Race (Boys & Girls combined)
10:00am Middle School Race (Boys & Girls combined)
The meet will be held at the Tellus Science Museum just off I75 exit 293.
All students should plan to arrive at WHS no later than 7 a.m. so the bus can depart on time. Thank you!

Runner's Needed to Volunteer for Saturday's Middle School Meet
Each year Woodland High School and Woodland Middle School runners volunteer to assist with races each team hosts during the season. WHS cross country runners are needed to assist with Woodland Middle School's Covered Bridge race this Saturday. Runners should arrive at Osborne Park (near Woodland Middle School) at 9 a.m. to receive volunteer assignments and instructions. Races start at 10 a.m.
In return, WMS runners will assist with our meet -- Run at the Rock.
Please reply to this email or contact your child's coach if your runner is able to volunteer some time on Saturday morning.

Schedule Changes and Call for Snack and Beverage Donations
We have changes to the race schedule (see below for an updated schedule). The Border Clash has been cancelled and the Warpath Invitational will likely be changed to the Cartersville Classic.
Snack Duty.
Please note that I have included the names of parents that have signed up for snack duty in the updated schedule as a reminder. We have several races that still need parents to help with snacks -- please email whsxc07@gmail.com to sign up. Kathleen Webb will be making reminder calls -- thanks Kathleen!

During the parent's meeting, Coaches Tuttle and Forbes asked for donations of bottled water and Gatorade. We have significant need for these items and have received very few donations to date. Please send a cash donation or a minimum of a case of water or Gatorade (12 oz bottles) with your child next week. Water and Gatorade can be delivered to Coach Tuttle's room before school or given to coaches after practice.
We need everyone's help to make this an enjoyable and successful season for our runners. Thank you in advance for your support!

The Berry Invitational is Saturday!
Our first meet of the season is this Saturday, Sept. 4, at Berry College in Rome.
The bus will depart WHS at 8 a.m. and return between 12 and 1 p.m. Please send lunch money with your child as the bus will stop at the food court at Mount Berry Mall before heading back to WHS.
Only the varsity runners will be participating in Saturday's meet.
